Flora & Fauna Studios is a charming photography studio and film location on Columbia Road set in an historic part of the East End of London.

In the 18th century the area was laid out as market gardens and watercress fields. In the following years, a series of Victorian terraced streets were built with Columbia Road at it’s commercial centre. The studio. which used to be a bootmaker’s workshop, sits in the middle of the street overlooking the world-famous Sunday flower market and a string of independent shops and acclaimed restaurants.

Since its restoration, the family-run studio has played host to countless food, fashion and interiors photoshoots as well as filming, advertising and bespoke events for charities. non-profits and ethical brands.

This studio is made up of two rooms with gorgeous exposed brickwork, plus a kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom.

Two large (180cm x 80cm) wooden collapsable tables with 4 accompanying collapsable benches as well as 6 bentwood chair and a wooden Slingsby ladder are included in the day rate.

We also hold a large collection of antique tableware, vases, jugs, bowls and cutlery that can be hired for a small fee. Should you require furniture, fabrics and/or art direction/styling services we can provide assistance in that area too.
